POP MUSIC SENSATION

New York, NY, November 1, 2005 - International pop music phenomenon, The Star Girls have landed with New York-based integrated marketing agency Big Tent Entertainment as their marketing and licensing agent. Through the long-term agreement, Big Tent Entertainment has obtained partial worldwide ownership of the band and will manage the marketing, promotional and licensing initiatives for the children's music group in North and South America, Caribbean, Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia.
Made up of Angel, Dream, Cheeky and Smiley from Planet Groove, The Star Girls is the only all-female group for kids between the ages of four and 12. A major force in their native country of Australia, following in the footsteps of other Australian kids' music sensations such as The Wiggles and Hi-5, The Star Girls topped the Australian music charts for 16 straight weeks with their #1 song " Girls Like Me" from their hit album " The Star Girls From Planet Groove ." Through their music, they teach children about self love, self belief with affirmative life lessons and positive empowerment. The Star Girls motto is "If you believe in yourself, you can do anything!" Their universal appeal and safe, family friendly themes blast kids into a world of hip music, funky design and out-of-this world entertainment.
The representation deal comes on the heels of The Star Girls recent hugely successful debut US tour, "Rock This World," which attracted thousands of kids and families at each event. Big Tent Entertainment plans to develop a wide-reaching licensing and marketing program surrounding the group that will initially focus on establishing partnerships in television, home video, apparel, publishing, gifts and accessories, and home and room décor. The company will also focus on establishing promotional partnerships for The Star Girls and build widespread internet, retail and direct to consumer programs.
